- Bars are to be lifted in order of lightest to heaviest.
- Athletes will start on the start line behind the first bar. Once the go command is given, athletes make their way to the first bar and lift.
- Once the athlete achieves a full lock out, knees locked, hips through, shoulders back, bar in palms of hands, a down call will be given. The athlete then moves to the next bar and so on.
- Bars must be controlled back down to the floor and hands must remain on the bar until it reaches the knee. Any aggressively dropped bars or bars dropped from above the knees, will be deemed a no rep and will need to be repeated regardless of whether a down call is given.
- Finger tipping bars is not allowed. The bar must remain in the palm of the hand, not gripped in the fingertips with the aid of a lifting strap. Any reps deemed to be finger tipped will be no repped.

Event 3
Overhead Medley
Axle - US Spec Log - Axle - US Spec Log
- Athletes have 75 second to press all 4 implements, lifted in the order of axle, log, axle, log, from lightest to heaviest.
- Athletes will stand at the start line and on the ‘GO’ command move to the first axle. The athletes are to lift the axle overhead to a full lockout. Once a successful lockout is achieved, they will the move onto the log and so on.
- A lockout is axle/log over head, elbows locked, head through, feet together and the athlete must be stable and motionless. Once this is achieved, the athlete will receive a down call and can then move onto the next implement.
- Implements are to be lowered back to the ground/pads under control. Hands must remain on the implements until they reach at least waist height. Any implement aggressively dropped, mic dropped or dropped from above the waist with hands off the implement, will be deemed a no rep. Any implement lost behind the head will be deemed a no rep regardless of a down call being given or not.
- Implements are not to be rested on the head. Any implement deemed resting on the head will result in the athlete being told to put the implement down and restart the rep.
- Athletes are permitted to push press, push jerk, split jerk, strict press & viper press.
- If an athlete has any issues preventing them achieving a full lockout, it is the athletes responsibility to seek out their ref prior to the event starting to discuss their limitations. The ref will discuss with the athlete their expectations given the athletes limitations to achieve a good rep.
- Belt cleans are not allowed on the axle.
If the axle bar lands on the hard belt, the athlete is to immediately bump the axle up so that there is a clear gap between the hard belt and the axle.
An axle can not go directly from the hard belt to the rack position.
If the ref deems a belt clean, the athlete will be told to put the bar down and restart the rep.
- All down calls must be given in the allowed time frame for a rep to be successful.
Scoring
Athletes will receive a finish time or a split time on the last successful implement.

- If the frame is dropped at any other time than when the referee gives the clear call, that will be the end of the athletes attempt.
